| If anyone out there has rhyme skills, Nintendo is looking for you. They are running a contest to see who can come up with a rap song for their new Donkey Kong 64 game. The contest is called 'DK Rap Attack'. All you have to do is head on over to http://www.donkeykong64.com/ and download the instrumental MP3. Afterwards write up a slamming verse. All contestants must videotape themselves performing the verse and then send it off to Nintendo. You have until January 14th to make like Big Daddy Kane and get the job done. The judges will be looking for the usual stuff like creativity, musical talent and of course the relevance to Donkey Kong 64. The winner will flown out to the Nintendo offices to record the song for the game..as well as real life airplay on the site... Note that Nintendo did not say they are paying any cold hard cash..mmmmm is this another form of Hip Hop exploitation??? |
